Joseph was trying to catch a spider here a moment ago reminded me of the first time he caught one.

I was sitting reading or something when Joseph comes running up to me saying that he had found a spider. I told him to wait a moment and i would help him catch it.

'No, no, i already caught it,' he said. it was then that i noticed that he had his hands cupped. he opened them up and a small spider tried to scramble out. i jumped a little, and was impressed with his ability to grab stuff without fear.

Another time, i was mowing our lawn with James, when i saw a snake. i quickly swerved, and then jumped off the mower to catch the snake. While it took a few moments get the other kids to come over and not be afraid, Joseph was right there, trying to hold it, and pet it.
